    Jean Pierre Froehly

The German French jazz guitarist Jean Pierre “JP” Froehly brings together worlds. In this case it is not a commonplace – as a diplomat in the service of the Federal Government Froehly has learned, what it means to closer bring together different cultures and languages. In the band jAAzz he brought together staff of the Foreign Ministry with protagonists of the Berlin Jazz scene. During his service as a German cultural attaché in the Ukraine he became an acclaimed jazz great of the Eastern European country. Recently, his unique synthesis of gauging swing and Eastern European hilarity as four in Berlin are available with Don Friedman, Wolfgang Lackerschmid and Hendrik Meurkens.

His tone trained to Attila Zoller is so round, soft and supple, that you simply must embark on him. For Froehly jazz is a synonym for a mutual coming together, that needs no words.
