The jazz singer, piano player and composer Corinna Reich was born as the daughter of a Czech mother and a German father. She was raised in a family of musicians and studied Jazz at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. She was taught by Sheila Jordan, Hartmut Fladt, Walter Norris and David Friedman. She was further inspired by musicians like Al Jarreau, Maria Joao, Stevie Wonder, Chet Baker, Bill Evans, Chick Corea and many more. She teaches music privately and in schools, constantly developing her own teaching method based on improvi-sation and composing. She published her own teaching material, released various CD’s with much of her own music and participated in productions for TV and Movies.
