A Journey through different cultural spaces and times: The new album, Between Love and Loss by jazz singer Corinna Reich, is surprising, diverse and experimental. It tells stories about longing, love, and farewell, about her Czech roots and her fascination for oriental music. In some of her compositions, the modern jazz style of her quartet is combined with the sound of a Ney flute and Czech lyrics. A game between East and West, it is a dialogue where different worlds meet.
